IF you've ever felt confused by your camera, the jargon people use in photography, or you're just picking up your first camera, this is the perfect place to find your next steps and be guided through your first few.

We'll be talking about photography in general, going over key concepts like exposure, the exposure triangle, tackling camera settings and modes, and much more!

When I first picked up a camera I remember being SO confused by all of the jargon, I couldn't get my head around what a 'crop factor' was on my camera, I didn't understand what ISO was, or why my images weren't sharp. We'll be solving all of those problems together, and going over some exercises to help you learn your camera and photography as a whole.

I decided to take the course to get some more understanding of how better to improve my photography. My last camera was a Practica SLR ( 35mm ) and I decided to get back into photography just over a year ago by buying a DSLR camera. After a short conversation with the instructor ( Jerry ) knew what my needs were and took me from taking my photographs from using Auto to using Manual settings. He was very understanding and informative on how to use the settings on my Canon 250D camera. I feel the course gave me a better understanding on how I could improve my photography skills further using better composition techniques and further understanding of Manual setting on my camera . I would definitely recommend this course for anyone wishing to understand and improve their photography further.

This particular film emphasizes shadows, highlights, and contrast, resulting in a striking Black & White color fidelity with minimal motion blur.Street photography, particularly in alleys, has always been my passion. An unedited photo of traffic taken during my first outing with my camera. I was testing out various shutter speeds to learn how to take good long exposure photographs. Despite not having an ND filter, this one turned out well. Testing out different shutter speeds helped me to realise why ND filters are essential for most long exposure photos. I had to resize the image to 2000&8202?&82021333 as the original size (8256&8202?&82025504) was too large to upload.
